Brian Critchley (Owner/Director) has been a healing arts practitioner since 2004. He was inspired to become a healer after suffering lower back pain following a car accident in his mid-20s. After trying various pathways to treatment he found the most relief from practicing yoga, building body awareness and alignment through conscious movement and breathwork, and receiving therapeutic massage.
He is a graduate both of the Somerset School of Massage Therapy (now Cortiva Institute) in Piscataway, NJ and Princeton University. Brian completed the 600-hour Professional Massage Track Program at SSMT as both the academic and practical valedictorian of the June 2004 class. A yoga practitioner since 1998, he completed the alignment-based Yoga Teacher Training Program at Inner Light Yoga Center in North Brunswick in 2010 and has continued his studies with Donna Amrita Davidge to explore Kundalini Yoga and meditation. He has maintained a private healing arts practice in Central New Jersey since 2004 and during that time he has offered his massage and yoga talents to various organizations such as Princeton University Healthcare System, Colgate Palmolive Technology Center, Rutgers University, Westminster Choir College, Shore Point Yoga, Onsen for All, Novo Nordisk, McCarter Theatre, One Yoga Center, Honor Yoga, Lululemon Princeton, Heart to Hearts Women's Health Center, Sewall House Yoga Retreat and others. Brian has also shared his love for the healing arts through writing projects as Co-Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of New Jersey Namaste News and as Yoga Editor for AllThingsHealing.com. He is currently part of the teaching faculty of The Movement's 200-Hour Teacher Training Program.
